Baby Lips Vs EOS

Now this is a topic I have always wanted to talk and debate about. Both EOS lip balm and baby lips come two very productive companies. EOS comes from Evolution of Smooth and baby lips come from Maybeline. Price wise they are both around the $3-$6 range at a local pharmacy. Now which one you would prefer is based on what your really looking for moist lips or colored lips.

Beauty wise Baby Lips are better and especially now because they are coming out with many new shades and colors. EOS lip balm has no color to it all nor shimmer. Baby lips you get color and your lips look glossy. However if you are looking for a deep shade of color baby lips is not the way to go. Baby lips is sheer more along the lines for high school or middle school students but if you want your free to use it.

EOS however is very good for chapped lips. when you put on EOS  you will get chapped lips and you don't have to wait along period of time for your lips to be moist. EOS also doesn't dry out your lips. For Baby Lips you have to be continuously be applying it or your lips get chapped. Baby Lips has and ingredient that dries out your lips so you continue using it.Overall its fair game.

Wall Stickers! New Obsession

Hey guys! Welcome back to Life As Is. Today I wanted to show you guys two really cool wall stickers. These are literally gonna be my new obsession because they are so cute and you can put them up anywhere! 

So this first one is of dandelions blowing in the wind. Its really quick and easy to assemble. They stickers come on a sheet like any other stickers and you can arrange them any way you like. Though you do have to be careful while pulling them off the sheet, its a really cool way to personalize your dorm or room and it just adds a more intricate look on the wall. Like seriously, you can't even tell they are stickers!

The next one I want to show is obviously a must-have for coffee lovers.......and everyone else! I personally am not a fan of coffee but this is a great touch to add to your kitchen. Place it right next to your coffee-maker and it creates a whole new look! 

Honestly, wall stickers are amazing. It can make a plain white boring wall into something much more. It easy to use and can come off easily off the wall without any damage. I personally really like the black and white stickers but there are also colored ones. Those of you with Macs who love buying those pretty cases and accessories, THIS IS FOR YOU.

How To Save on Beauty

 

 Makeup is something some girls enjoy shopping for but nowadays makeup doesn't come cheap. Here are my 4 tips to help you save some money.

1) Drugstores -  Shopping at drugstores is a huge No when it comes to makeup. Drugstores like Rite-Aid, CVS, or Walgreens cost us up to $3.00 dollars more per product. Yeah the stores have sales almost every week, but it only brings the prices down to what it normally would have been. Target and Walmart is the best places to save money.

2)  Coupon - Here come the obvious tips. USE COUPONS. Nowadays you can get coupons online anywhere and many brand websites will have their own. On top of the manufacturer coupons that we just discussed, use store coupons. Target has an entire website dedicated to coupons you just have to print them. In addition, Target has a Cartwheel app where you can get 5% or more off. There are also apps that give cash back.

3) Markdown Schedules - Not many stores give out their schedules, but Target was kind enough to let their shoppers know. SHOP ON FRIDAYS. Beauty products are cheapest on Fridays. If a price ends with a 4 that is the lowest price it will go. (Example: $2.94)

4) Smart Shopper- You have to be the shopper that knows. Make friends with people who work in the store, you will usually get inside scoops on when sales are or when a new shipment is coming in. It helps to be friendly.

School Tips and Survival Guide

HEY EVERYONE!! Welcome back to Life as Is. Today I want to talk about school. Most of us are returning to school whether it's middle school, high school or college. Being the oldest out of the four of us, I have obviously been dealing with school the longest. Throughout my years, I have learned how to get by school from year to year. Now, I am one of the few people in this world that actually ENJOYS going to school. For those of you who don't appreciate school as much as I do, I have decided to share my secrets to making the most of school. By no means does this mean you have to follow everything I say.
